Retargeting Pixels: Every Tap on Your Link Can Now Feed Your Ads
Attach your Meta, TikTok, or GTM pixels to any Zippy link — every tap fires them before the redirect, so you can retarget the exact people who clicked, even from a bio link.

⚡ Zippy: you paid for that click. now you can retarget it. stick your pixels on my link and every tap phones home before the redirect. zap.
Here's the retargeting problem every creator hits: your Meta and TikTok pixels live on your website. But your audience clicks a bio link, a story link, a link in a caption — and half those taps go to your Spotify, your YouTube, your store, places where your pixel can't come along. Those clickers are your warmest audience, and to the ad platforms they're invisible.
Today that stops: retargeting pixels on Zippy links.
Pixels, but on the link itself
Attach your pixels once in the dashboard — Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Tag Manager, any mix, up to 5 per link. Then tick them on any link. Done. Every tap on that link fires your pixels before the redirect:
- Platform links (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, …) fire them on the interstitial — the same page that springs the native app. Zero extra hops.
- Plain links get a lightning-fast pass-through page: pixels fire, visitor bounces to the destination. Blink and you miss it.
The visitor lands exactly where they were going. Your pixels just get their split second on the way through.
Why this is a big deal for bio links
Everyone who taps your link chose to. That's not an impression — that's intent. Feed those taps to Meta and TikTok and you can:
- Retarget clickers — show your next ad to people who already tapped your drop.
- Build lookalikes — give the platform your warmest audience as the seed.
- Stop flying blind — your link-in-bio traffic finally shows up in Events Manager.
And because the pixels ride the link, they work everywhere the link goes — bio, stories, captions, DMs, QR codes on posters. If Zippy handles the tap, your pixel sees it.
Set it up in a minute
- Paste your pixel IDs in Settings → Pixels (from Meta Events Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, or your GTM container).
- On any link — new or existing — open Retargeting pixels and tick the ones it should fire.
- Share the link. Or don't — links you've already shared start firing immediately. The short link never changes.
Zippy checks every pixel ID's format when you save, so a typo gets caught in the dashboard instead of silently doing nothing on a live link.
One straight-up thing
The pixels fire on your behalf — you're the advertiser, exactly as if the tap landed on your own site. So your privacy disclosures apply: your privacy policy, your consent requirements, whatever the platforms and your local rules ask of you. Zippy fires the tags; the data relationship is yours.
The gist
Your pixels, riding your links, firing on every tap — even the taps that never touch your website. Retargeting pixels are live now on Hero and up — setup lives in the pixel docs, and the ship note is in the changelog. ⚡
